About Us

LovedTheParty.com  was developed by an Interior Designer whose business evolved into event planning for design clients, non-profits and corporate accounts. Word of mouth recommendations brought opportunities to create fabulous weddings, debutante parties, showers, teas, luncheons, and dinner parties, as well as  birthday bashes, graduation celebrations, retirement receptions and fundraising events.

Welcome to LovedTheParty.com! I have assembled  a wonderful collection of favors, decorations, invitations, gifts, yummies and some special pampering items for you and your guests... things to have everyone saying 'LOVED The Party'!!!

As a professional interior designer with over 27 years of experience, it was something of a natural progression to start event designing for my clients. Afterall, interior design and party planning have a lot of common elements: function, theme, flow, and of course the all important 'wow' factor. In planning events for clients, I often had a difficult time finding the quality items that gave each event that special 'designer touch'. Not that the things were unavailable, but they were rarely available locally. It started as  an idea to share party ideas and grew into a vision of hand selecting items a great design  and to help you start your own creative process.

Also included in LovedTheParty.com are gift items for not only the guests, but also for the honoree! One stop shopping! I am continuingly seeking lovely, thoughtful, fun ways to let your guests know that they are worth the effort. I firmly believe that it is the details, the small (and large) gestures that make guests feel special. It is my desire to help make the quest for those special touches easy to find through LovedTheParty.com.

On a personal note: I have a degree in Interior Design from The University of Texas (Hook 'Em Horns!!) and am a professional Interior Designer. I am also a busy volunteer with several non-profits, our church, and as a Sustaining member of Junior League. My days as a (seemingly permanent) volunteer with my children's schools are over now that the oldest has graduated from college and is working in NYC and the youngest is has graduated (Magna Cum Laude!) and is a newlywed. My husband, an attorney, and I are puppy parents to two Chihuahuas and are owned by a cat.

If you have questions or suggestions, please e-mail me and I will try to help! Keep watching this site as we develop more and more resources for you. Bookmark us and tell your friends!

Above all, have a party. Have lots of parties. Parties for 2, parties for hundreds. Put in that extra effort... because IT'S FUN!!!!
